Swimming pool modification

So, in addition to the broken radio, I have a swimming pool modification in the back of my jazz. I don't know where the water is coming from, but there is about 3 inches in there. The seats are damp and it's starting to grow new species of fungus that may be of interest to scientists.

Any idea how to get the pool out of the back and stop it constantly refilling?

Take a look at this thread: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/1st-...eak-trunk.html

The rear seat leak is covered there in addition to the trunk area leak.

The leak is annoying but it's honestly a pretty simple fix and then you're good to go. I understand the frustration though especially if you've got a mold situation going.

Yeah, the seats are soaking as well. This week one window switch has broke completely, another 2 work intermittently, the radio doesn't work, cd is touch and go and the air conditioning is knackered. And it needs 4 new tyres.

Boohoo. If you think it's time then do what you gotta do. What you have going on aren't difficult fixes but if you're not mechanically inclined and/or just don't wanna deal with it then I understand you wanting to move on. There's a decent market out there for our cars .

To get you by in the meantime, you could just drill a hole in each passenger footwell to keep water from building up. I don't recommend this unless you're expecting the car to go to the crusher soon. Just make sure you don't hit the fuel tank (just under the front seats).
