I was looking for 23623-PLW-315 - Sleeve set, Synchronizer (3-4). It seems Honda no longer produces this part. I thought I had a suitable replacement with 23623-P21-315 but it is too big (to fit on a bigger shaft).

So now I have come across 23444-PLW-325 which seems to be the same set but it includes the the third gear.

Can someone tell me if 23444-PLW-325 and 23623-PLW-315 are the same?

Here is a list of measurements I took using my vernier in inches (expect variances of 0.05 or so):
Synchronizer gear: Inner diameter - 2.095inch. Outer diameter - 2.741inch.
Sliding gear (moved by the forks): Inner diameter - 2.640inch. Outer diameter - 3.225inch.
Fixed gear (inside the sliding gear): Inner diameter - 1.179inch. Outer diameter - 2.727inch.

If anyone is able to please measure up the Synchronizer gear at least for me that would be greatly appreciated.

Hope someone out there is technical with Manual Transmissions.
