Near stall at idle

Near stall at idle
Hello everyone,
I know that issues with Fits jerking/hiccuping/hesitating have pretty much been beat to death, but I haven't quite found an answer on here yet that fit my situation.
I have an 07 Fit auto with 118k miles and for about the past week whenever I'm stopped with the car in drive (stop sign, stop light, etc) it will frequently sound like it is about to stall out for about a second, then go back to normal. Sometimes it's about 10-15 seconds between occurrences, sometimes less, but the tachometer never moves. It makes the whole car sort of "jerk" when it does it, but it's not giving me any CEL and it doesn't happen in neutral or park.
Everything I've seen on here is people saying that new coils or a valve adjustment are in order for things like this, but I can't imagine something like a misfire would only occur in drive, at a stop, and not also in park and neutral would it? I put new plugs in about 2 months ago when I had a misfire code, but haven't had a code since.
thanks for any help

What cylinder was misfiring when it set a code?
Does near stall take place when engine is cold or warmed up?
If you have a scanner (not just code reader) go to mode $6 and check each cylinder for misfire counts.

I never checked for any one cylinder when I had the misfire. I had codes P0300, P0301, and P0303 before changing the plugs, and everything was fine after. Here's a link to a thread I started when I had the misfire problem.

The near stall occurs both when the engine is cold and when the engine is warm, though it seems to occur more frequently when the engine is warmer.
Today, I noticed that it kind of hesitates on acceleration, but nothing bad. Still no codes.
Is this all just spiraling down to a coil problem and maybe I'm just over-diagnosing the problem? I bought the car used with about 100k miles on it, so I don't really know the history on the coils it's already got. Is there a way to identify the coils I have to see if they're the original ones?
Thanks
