Keyless entry

So I'm looking for a 2007-2008 sport key so I can have keyless entry for my base fit I found this one on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Genuine-OEM-2007-Honda-Fit-Transmitter-Key-Fob-35111-SLN-305-/321119294571?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ac433946b&vxp=mtr
I gave it to my friend who works at honda and when he searches the pn it doesn't say its for a fit just says key transmitter...

I bought
Amazon.com: Genuine Honda 35111-SWA-306 Key: Automotive Amazon.com: Genuine Honda 35111-SWA-306 Key: Automotive
and that key won't work got it cut but he's telling me that it won't program

can anyone tell if that key will work or point me in the right direction to get a working keyless setup

Thanks
Shaun

From the handful or so of threads on here that I've read through on the topic it seems that the general consensus is that you can't have your cake and eat it too. Unfortunately GD owners can't use the remote opener and key in a single-piecd combination. We're limited to the key and then the opener on a different piece. If someone can prove me wrong you'll be my best friend because I would love to declutter my keychain.
