Hi, just wondered if anyone would be able to tell me if there is anyway a belt can be fitted that can bypass the air con? Otherwise its going to be a very expensive job fitting new air con. Thanks

I don't think there is a non-AC version of the fit, so there's not an off-the-shelf belt made for the Fit that omits the AC. That being said, you might be able to get your mechanic to "figure it out" just trying belts until he gets the right size after removing the compressor. I don't know of any bypass pulleys are manufactured that would allow you to use the original belt length over a dummy compressor pulley, but if you found one, that would work too.
Also, you can get your AC fixed a lot cheaper than dealer prices ($1100 was quoted to me to do a compressor !!!) if you track down a salvage part (assuming you have a bad condenser or compressor? $50-150 used) and get a 3rd party shop to put it in and charge up the system. Ended up being $450 for the compressor for me when all was said and done. My mechanic advised a used compressor over the 3rd party rebuild ones.

It's been done. simple matter of measuring belt length around the crank pulley, alternator and water pump with
cloth ribbon tapes and go to manufacturers of belts like yours and choose a belt to match the length and type belt (grooves width etc.). most aftermaket belt suppliers can help with that.
PS why is the replacemwnt a/c going to be so difficult that you need to bypass the air con? and since the a/c pulley idles when mot being used why do you need to bypass the a/c? pulley bearing failure?
