Please take a look on the customer service and professional level of the dealership:
Pensacola Honda Service Dept - Pensacola Fishing Forum
this is a cool information for those who wants to change ATF per dealer's recommendation.
2 years ago I did a fluid changes on my buddie's 07 Ridgeline at 63000; the fluid was pink with brown tint; no shifting problems, 1mm thick layer of steel dust on the drain plug magnet.
Refilled with newer DW fluid. The truck has 98 000 mi now, driven in San Francisco no transmission problems so far.
Some will disagree but:
transmission noise is a sign of hard parts (gears and bearings) failure and is very bad;
erratic shifting often can be fixed without major expenses.:

You're correct. Got it changed by the dealer at 75k+ something miles. I'll do it myself from now on. I'm at 120k now and the car still shifts as good as it did after the fluid change.

I've noticed the auto Fit has rough-ish shifting, not in a bad way but it's like how a manual transmission feels in terms of shifting. I drive my parents' minivan and I never even feel it shift.

My transmission feels the same way. My fluid was just changed less than a 1000 miles ago and I haven't noticed a difference. It shifted the same before and after the fluid change.

I have noticed a difference in the way it shifts since I installed the intake though. It seems to take longer to shift like the transmission is thinking too long or something.

There aren't that many good dealerships out there and the ones that are, are overshadowed by the crappy ones.

The jerky shifting on older cars caused by engine that needs tune up or mechanical repair.
On Fit it can be normal provided it happened from the day one of ownership (like on mine)
After brake pad change I asked my buddy with 08 Accord (150000 mi) to take me for an acceleration test.
When he accelerated slow and easy we felt every gear change; when he accelerated briskly the only indication of gear change was the drop of engine rpms

Yeah,

We have a dealership in Vegas called Honda West, it's quite far from the actual Strip but it's near to where I live. It's the only Honda dealership that I know that gets crap done without stuffing a bunch of "special offers" down your throat.

I have a feeling the engine mounts are going. There's a lag in power and I feel some wheel hop.

Was thinking about getting the Innovative Mounts just in case I have plans for some future modding.

I guess new engine mounts would minimize the shifting feel as well?
