Clunking sound coming from the front left wheel
I have own 2008 Fit that I bought used with 90K on it. The car has been great but I have noticed this clunking sound coming from the left front wheel. I cant really describe it but every time i hear it i think of a metal hanger hitting the ground. The car is stock btw.
I only hear it when I let the car roll on drive without pressing on the gas. Its not consistent either. When i accelerate the noise disappears. Idk if it could be the suspension. I've taken off the wheel off to see it there was anything out of the ordinary but everything seemed fine.
I have seen other people with similar problems but their suspension was not stock and it seemed to stem from that.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions to what it might be?

You could try to bounce the left front of the car and see whether you can hear it. Most noises would not be limited to when you are just starting unless the brake caliper is sticking. (If it was the left rear I would suspect the emergency brake.)
If it happened more often, then it could be the upper strut mount, loosened gland nut holding the strut cartridge, worn end-links, worn bushing, backing plate rubbing against the rotor, etc. Have you looked to see whether there is an object in the tire itself?
Just as an experiment, if you normally drive into the driveway frontwards and back-out, try backing into the driveway and rolling out frontwards.
