Good info CB... I only have the weekend window to try get the check lamp off, the car is way out of inspection, and running worse every time I see it, but I don't get a chance to repair it due to limited time. I will try get the owner to a FLAP to run the codes...
Usually my FLAP will match prices, even from Rock Auto, like for the steering box for my Silverado pickup and Suburban. Price matched from $156 to $86, and no shipping to me and core return. Too bad the box is still loose, and 1 of the boxes requires too much effort, a PIA.

Is this the Dongle? + extra toys???
I just bought an Iphone 5S, (not especially immpressed) and Fit owner's son has a Droid. Is the link bluetooth and no cable needed? I just googled it and I got to get to work, more later

The more I use the Iphone, the less I like it. I needed propane, so I asked Siri, and she tells me there's no propane in my area. Yellowpages shows 4 local vendors. I made a video of the back and forth...

Common sense is one of the last frontiers high tech hasn't replaced (yet). Don't give it up so quickly!

Here's another, cheaper OBDII dongle. But again, its for Android (or a bluetooth equipped laptop/netbook, apparently)

So I finally was able to give the stuttering/shuddering Fit some well deserved time, and changed 1 coil at a time w Beck Arnley Made in Japan coils, $54 from amazon, and the 3rd coil was the problem.
Another forum mentioned that some of the older coils don't have a small vent hole. Well, the bad coil in fact didn't have this little vent hole. So I will return 3 of these coils, only 4 months old from FLAP, Hitachi brand, and keep one of the '07 originals as a spare. Video will follow...

Here is the review I just wrote to Amazon>>> I was trying to figure out why my friends 2007 Fit (w 200k, 1 owner) hesitated or stumbled at 60mph, and got worse w time, then developed a stumble when revving engine off idle. Tried replacing 3 coils and problem persisted (didn't have funds for 4th coil, $77 at auto parts for Hitachi brand). So bot 4 from Amazon at $54 each, and replaced 1 at a time... 1st was an old original 200,000 mile coil, 2nd was newer style w tiny air breather hole in coil housing, problem persisted, 3rd was the charm! This coil did NOT have an air/breather hole which prolly contributed to the coil breakdown as I had read on a Fit Forum. I repalced all 4 and smeared a bit of di-electric grease inside boot which pulls off coil w a good straight tug. there is a springy thingy inside, small paint brush needed. Check engine lamp is finally extinguished after several months of being on, and car being out of inspection. These coils are made in Japan. I bought 1 of the coils separately from the other two, so not positive that it was a Hitachi

Here is a link to a similar thread where the coils were suspect:
