Hello, I broke off the original latch from my JDM armrest about two months after I put it in. Guess I was putting too much side load on it in the curves! I made a replacement pretty much copying their design, and it lasted awhile, but it also broke in the same direction. I finally got around to making another one, modifiyng the area that kept experiencing the failure (duh). I almost have it ready to go in and test. I'll let you know how it goes.
If I get it to work well, anyone need one to replace their broken ones?
