Hid kit question

Wanting to get a set of hid lights for my 07 gd3 had a vvme fat ballast kit that worked great with no flicker or burnouts etc on my 01 zx3. Had problems getting the ballast to fit under the good though. Is there a good amount of room for the same kit on my fit? And are there any better kits I should look into for around same price range? 60 dollar max, also what bulb size do I need? I am wanting just a low beam kit

I Took My Front Bumper Off And Headlight Housing Out And They Are Mounted On The Side Kind Of Under Wher The Washer Bottle Is On The Right Side And Around The Same Area For The Left. I Have Hids On My Fogs Too. So Both Ballasts Are There For Each Side.

Nm I don't think I'm gonna do a hid kit because it looks like a pain in the ass on this car due to having to remove the bumper etc it will probably result in me breaking my warranty on my car...

Took Me 20 Min. Look For A Diy For Bumper Removal And Hids Dont Normally Void Warranties. Especially Cause With An 07 Im Sure Ur Powertrain Is Up And So Its Just And Aftermarket Extended Warranty.

do you have daytime running lights in the GD's? Pull the fuse if they use the lowbeam circuit.

I recommend a relay harness for anything like HIDs or any aftermarket bulbs that use more power. HIDs have a large surge of power to ignite the bulbs, then they fall back to 35watts each usually.

That surge has been blowing fuses in both my buddies civic si's (07 and 08)

For one I made a relay harness from radioshack parts cuz his wiring was already jacked up, the other he is waiting on delivery from ebay

I bet you can grab a relay harness for under $30. make sure it covers both sides and not just one. they will be plugNplay except for battery wire and mounting relay ground
