Help finding part # for door trim

Hi,

A car wash took off that black plastic triangle trim piece from the right rear door. it sits at the very back of the door . Looking from the right side it is on the very left of the door. I have tried Bernardi honda but the heck if I can find it on their web site. Does anyone know the part # for this piece?

Also I have the honda rubber floor mats and I guess because they are so heavy they have wore the carpet in a couple of places when the mat moves around. Any idea on how to repair? I have the dark interior

Other than these 2 items, my Fit has been great!

Thanks!

I have tried that on 2 sites and both say it is an invalid part number. Maybe Bernardi honda just doesn't offer all Honda parts. I will try some more..thanks.

Try Majestic honda's website? I was able to find everything imaginable for my fit on there, including an official honda fit first aid kit!

You got it! it is 72721-SAA-003. For some reason I did not get any emails that people had responded. Well I am off today and remembered I still had the old part and sure enough found the part number that way. Funny thing is it is not listed in the diagrams. If you do a view, it says no image available.

I think that is what was throwing me off as you can't find it visually.

Any ideas on repairing the wear spots in the black carpet??

BTW Here is a little someone back. I have a scanguage II . It has some nice functions but after about a year it starting messing up. One day it would not turn on and for about 6 months or so it stayed that way. Then it turned back on for another 3 months or so then died again and has never come back. Recently I stumbled on these OBDII blue tooth scanners. They are cheap but I went with a well recommended on on Amazon (called BAFX OBDII). It was like 23 bucks and works great (so far) you connect it to an Android device and used a program called Torque (it has some basic PC software included but torque is supposd to be much better. I just got it and just learning to use it but it appears to have more features than than the scanguage as it can work with your gps. They have a free version of the software but the paid version is like 5 bucks. I thought about getting a small 5" andriod to use as a display as my phone is on the small side. Anyway maybe old news, but figured i would throw that out there. For under $30 bucks it- so far- looks like a great deal.

Thanks for the help guys..

P.S Who is the best honda vendor these days. Is bernardi still a good choice?

I've found that it always pays to shop around a bit. Shipping seems to have gone up quite a bit from all vendors, so the advice to "buy nearby" is more pertinent than ever.

You can often find shipping discounts from Bernardi by Googling "Bernardi Discount Codes"

They had free shipping last fall, so I stocked up on "heavy" stuff like fluids and coolant.

Hey thanks for the info...not sure I would have ordered had I not got a $5 code as shipping was almost as much as the part ($17 shipping for small plastic part?)

I have noticed the same thing in my other hobbies about shipping, but only with UPS. To ship a laptop it was about $14. Same for a RC helicopter (about 6-8 lbs). That was me shipping it back to the company. Yet another company I deal with uses Fedex ground and they sent me a 8 lb Helicopter for 8.99. Well a few months later another company was having a big sale on the same helicopter $75.00 off but they only use UPS. Shipping was $15.00 for exact same helicopter that Fedex ships for 8.99, plus Fedex is slightly faster delivery on top of that.

So it looks like UPS has raised rates and Bernardi is adding a little on top of that. You have to use a code to make it worth it. I need an air filter as it is overdue, but guess I will look for one locally. Thanks again for the heads up!

USPS parcel post has almost doubled since new rates went into effect in January.

Sometimes you can get a local Honda dealer to price-match (or at least discount) parts if you bring in a webpage showing the online pricing. Here in NJ, you save on shipping but have to pay sales tax.

I will give that a try thanks. I am also going to give Amazon a try since it has free shipping.

As reliable as my Fit as been, I shouldn't be complaining about a few bucks, esp over a part that broke that wasn't even it's fault
