As far as exhaust, we can change ANYTHING after the exhaust ports in the head, AS LONG AS we retain a "high flow cat" within 6" down stream of the OE cats end point... This has caused me NO END of headache to figure out . I'm going to end up usig the Weapon R Race header (cat delete) with a VERY customized Megan 2.25" B pipe and a clamp on Burns Stainless 17" 2.5 pound muffler... Should be FUN Might even register on the sound meter at events now
im amazed with the amount of different cars that they can even keep tabs on whats within their rules and whats not. that sounds bad ass man. hopefully you put some drivers to shame at your event.

It is actually each class's competitors job to keep tabs on each other... and protest if something is not within regs. Trust me, it happens. For example I cant run my "duckbill" rear spoiler as it is non OEM aero equipment, but I CAN remove it entirely I have to swap a bunch of junk around for National events as opposed to local stuff.

This is most of the exhaust bits:

And I do all right locally! First column is raw time, 2nd is indexed

what do you mean rear splitter? like the splitter under the rear bumper?
Correct. Splitter for underneath the rear bumper. As for the itbsi know it's a long shot but I figured why not lol.

Hey there!

Just thought I would check in and see if there is an update... Still would love some more camber/caster

Also figure's I'd like your page on FB. The GoPro arm extensions look SWEET! Might be able to get some super cool wide angle/under car shots with those... When my codriver shows up with all his cameras we run like 5-7 on the car :P

nothing happening yet, although i have that 2.5 MAF adapter modeled up just waiting on a spare sensor to get here to finish it.

thanks man i just got my hero3 last week. ive been promising my buddy to make him some arms for awhile now. im machining the v2 versions tonight. the first ones could have fit alot better so we made some tweaks and should be pretty good now. ill make you a pair if you would like. the goal is a full aluminum arm set with 6, 12, 16 inch extension arms, 90 degree arms and some random mounts. think of it as the extreme gopro mounting kit lol. cool thing is my 6" arm weighs as much as the 3 arms that come with it and those are only about 4" lol

just so everyone knows what we are talking about

We should be able to use OEM upper spring seat as camber plate platform. You know add ears and such to simply accommodate mounting points to car where the strut bars mount. Or just go balls-to-the-wall and make an entire one piece strut bar/camber plate combo.

.....and techno toy.... .... my girl already knows I love my car more, and you sir are not helping.

here is a clean view of the upper mount area under the hood.

I do not like the focused stress of coilover upper mounts with reduced diameters. Behold...

the stress on the seam from 10 O'clock to 3 O'clock. Definitely something to consider and be aware of.

Our upper mounts suck. Popped them in a while back when the suspension was stock. Eliminated low speed turning noise. I installed fittings on all ball joints too. Not the lower one.... endlinks and tierod ends. In my mind if it moves; it needs grease...period. What it is made of, does, and is exposed too determines the grease. I remember a time when fittings came on everything.

I'm rattling through shelves of parts and tools now. Have to straighten everything up so I can start fresh in my shop again, but I'll have some pics of the spring seats I speak of as well.
