aerial/antenna base replacement
Hi All,
Looking for some help replacing my aerial/antenna base. Basically the whole base needs replacing. I managed to get a second hand replacement and now I am struggling to fix it.
I was told to get to the bolt, you need to go through the interior lights and unscrew the bolt. The problem is I can't see the bolt. It seems to be covered by some sort of shield that is covering the bolt.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can remove this? Or if I'm doing it completely wrong?
Thanks in advance,
Gerald

If your antenna is at the rear you can pull off the rubber holding up the headliner a bit than you can drop the headliner a bit CAREFULLY and you can get at the antenna base.
Unless you have one of the European style antenna at the front set ups. Then you can try to do the same at the front end but I'm not sure.
