First, I can't edit the video and then post it, so you need to skip the first minute. The guy waits for a car to leave the parking lot. Loops around my Fit, which is parked at the top near the white SUV, comes back pulls the visors and then exits the frame at the top left. I think he crosses the street where he parked his own car.

The video kind of sucks I know, but I wanted to post it anyway. My car was parked at Signature Flight Support at the John Wayne Airport. The guy stole them Thursday night at about 1115PM. If anyone knows anything let me know. These were cheap JDM replica visors and the tint had started to turn purple from the sun.

Oh and in case the guy sees this, I'll be speaking to the businesses across the street, they have better security cameras and I hope we get a shot of your car. I think it's important that you look up the video of the bikers that got hit by a car, it was on the news recently, the police enhanced that crappy video and got his license plate number. I also hope that since you stole something off airport property that they'll consider it a federal crime and throw you in jail for the duration of your life. <a little bit of wishful thinking.

Do you think the guy owns a Fit or knows someone with one?

There doesn't seem to be a huge demand for used first gen Fit items, so it makes me wonder what this guy's planning to do with stolen visors. If he puts them up for sale online, I think people would notice - I rarely see used visors for sale. Makes me suspect that this could have been for personal use.

 

Yeah, I assumed it was personal use. I honestly thought I'd see a Fit pull into the parking lot and then drive away, but it looks like he put some thought into it. Also, I literally got the visors used for 10 bucks. It's not like they were authentic Mugen or JDM. On a positive side I wanted new visors anyway, so this just pushes me to get them. Oh and my car will be pulled onto the other side of the fence from now on so no one is getting to it when I'm there.
