Best springs?

Hey guys, I want to lower my fit like 3" but I still want a smooth ride not a rock hard or a hopping bunny.
Any recomendations and like how much they cost?

Thanks

I don't think any springs give that much of a drop. I have D2 coilovers and they're really smooth once the dampening is setup properly.

I too have been researching springs and one of the biggest drops is about 2.3" in the front 1.7" in the rear from eibach sport line lowering springs

Eibach Springs : Sportline

For the record I have never ridden in a car with Eibach springs that hasn't been jarring and uncomfortable.

For my money Swift springs are pretty hard to beat on about any vehicle.

Note taken. Jarring as in bouncy? I don't want to be bottoming out every driveway I get to.

I'm using H&R sports. They are decently low for springs and give a nice ride. A bit bumpy at times, but I have none to compare to. I'm thinking of going coilover and dropping another inch.

They don't drop that much. That's a range you're looking at on the page you linked. 1.7-2.3 inches, not 1.7 inches rear and 2.3 inches front.

I am 100% in agreement with Funkster.. I have used Eibach springs and swore I would never drop a car again.. Besides being terribly uncomfortable they ruined the shocks and struts and my CV joints wore out prematurely ... I bought and installed Swift springs on my Fit after reading up on them and they are every bit as good as everyone says they are... I had to remove them though because the 1 1/2" drop in front was causing me to bottom out about every time I drove anywhere.. I have Buddy Club coil overs on it now, set right at stock height and with larger diameter tires I can finally drive as fast as I want to without having to worry about tearing off another front bumper.

You have a Base model so your bumper isn't stupid low like the Sport model bumper.. You can go lower with your car then I can get away with. Besides that, you guys in Miami must not have very tall speed bumps or steep driveway entrances like we have to deal with here... The Swift springs don't drop as low as what you want I think it's 1 1/2" front and 3/4" in the rear.. They work great with the stock shocks and struts, make your car handle and ride like nothing else... The larger wheel diameter is going to fill up your wheel wells a lot more than the stock wheels and it would still look great... Do a search for the Swift spring thread and see some of the cars that have them and what the owners have to say about them...

I think anything is better than Eibach... They have very little travel, wreck struts and shocks and wear your ass out too.

Picked up a set of these after I sold my coilovers. I have to admit the handling IS Awesome! the height is good in the front, but the rear for me is a bit high.

I had progress springs and loved them. IMO your asking alot if you want to drop the car 3". Your going to give up some comfort and ride quality when you lower the car. The lower you go the more you give up. One thing to remember is the Fit has a short wheel base so you will already feel more bumps and changes in the road.
