Come on guys, what is ridiculous is thinking that a slightly larger tire is going to have any real effect on the running gear of this car. We ain't talking 44" Super Swampers here. Get a grip on reality boys.

BTW I'm 74 years old and have had grease under my nails for well over 1/2 decade, been doing it longer than probably 80% of your dads.

a larger tire will have more weight farther from the axle which will make the engine work harder and accelerate slower, and get less mpg. the smaller the engine the easier it is to strain the engine when you make it work harder to turn the wheels.

thats from a 78 year old with 50 years in vehicle engineering, including design and selection of tires for vehicles.
its simple physics, sheldon.
