Moving to Tallahassee dilemma

Moving to Tallahassee dilemma
Ok so, I'm moving to Tallahassee in the end of December.. I just recently took a road trip up there and while I was there I pulled my bumper almost completely off 5 different times because of the steep driveways and such..
I'm contemplating trading in my fit for a small truck because the entire time I was there I was watching non lowered cars scrape their shit everywhere they went.. It was amazing.. I'm trying to figure out what to do ...
I could either put the stock springs back on my car, still scrape, and hate how the stance looks.. Or get a small truck (GMC Canyon) and deal with less MPG..

Uhhh.. I'm a fire fighter.. I work for the Monroe county but I'm moving up there to get my paramedic certificate and hopefully work for TFD..
But I'm 22 if that helps lol

I would definitely complain to the city and get a letter from them to cover any damage you may incur while residing there.

Improve your driving skills. Look where you are going. I have driven around two winters lowered and my front end is just fine.

And I'm the most observant driver I know, not to sound arrogant. If it were a matter of watching where I'm going then I wouldn't be able to drive through probably 1/2 of the streets in town..
Sorry about the filth, but that's a 9v battery.. I've got less than 3" of clearance which I know doesn't sound that bad but when I went up there it was a whole new world of hurt

Its possible to avoid bad spots like that. Heck, I know a couple guys that go way off their intended route because they know to avoid areas like that. So I'm not sure if that will be worth it to you, cause it also depends on the time you need to get somewhere.

My biggest gripe is the front cladding and it's distance in front of the front axles and ground clearance.... I'm slightly dropped on Swift Mach springs and rather than give them up I plan to install rubber donut spacers on top of the front springs... I am pretty sure that there will be more under steer when I do but a rear anti sway bar should fix that...
