26K miles on OEM tires (that's pretty poor but I'm not surprised based on reading threads here)
Looking for an all season set that are quiet and will last much longer (60K would be nice)
I'm willing to pay up to $125 per tire to get that performance
I'm considering the following from America's tire store based on my research on their site and this one:
Yokohama YK580
Yokohama YK520
Goodyear Eagle GT
Any thoughts on these? I am not a racer, just a lot of city driving and want good rain traction. Not going on the snow with this car.
Thanks for the help.

you did better than I did, I only got 18k on my OEMs I replaced with the Toyo Proxes 4 in 205 50 15, no rubbing issues or fit issues on the rims... Paid 68 per tire, they are high performance all season and come with a 50k mile warranty... pretty good deal!

I don't need all-weather tires, we never get ice or snow down here, and lately we haven't even gotten any rain. For me, quiet is key but I realize that I can't have a soft tire and get any wear out of it. So a balanced quiet with long-wearing would be good.
Please give us your tire recommendations ASAP! Gotta get some by next week latest!

What to buy
I now have Michelin Pilot Exaltos, 195/55/15 on my 08 Sport. Excellent wet dry and pretty good in snow. Except in the summer, the ride is too rough as they are V rated. They were great on another car, but my Fit is too light for these.
Previous tires were Nokian WRG2. Great summer & winter, a touch noisy when worn. Would buy again.
Next possibles are Hankook Optimo 4S. Sorry, only in Canada so far.
If you have 16" wheels, the Conti DWS would be a choice for me.

I just had Yokahama Envigors put on my 2007 Fit Sport and I love them! We've had wet roads the past few days since they were put on and they have performed great. Seem to notice a much better ride and handling with the new tires. They seem to handle the curves taken at higher speeds and I've had no issues with braking. I really wish I had gotten them sooner. They are high performance all weather tires with about a 40,000 miles warranty. Got them for $129.00 but the same tire can be purchased from Tire Rack under $100.00 each. I just got into an emergency situation with the stocker Dunlops my front left developed a bulge and was about to blow.

I love my Sumitomo HTR PS a01 performance all seasons. They are very quiet, and have a really snappy ride without being harsh. The noise was what sold me. It helps make the Fit easier to live with. However, the warranty is only 50k miles and I didn't buy them to last. I would rather have a pleasant 50k miles.

X2 here. THe Envigors are a great tire. Sidewall is a little soft for super hard cornering but they handle great, are quiet and ride about 10X better than the stock tires.
Not great in the snow but passable. Seems like they do much better if you don't spin them at all and just take it easy.
One thing I love about them is they stick to dry pavement very well in cold weather.

On Tirerack.com, the Fit drivers recommend the Yokohama Drive S as a good quiet tire, good handling.

You can find an interesting comparison here: Tire Test: Nine Affordable Summer Tires Take On the Michelin PS2 - Comparison Tests

Also need mounting
What is the cheapest outlet to buy tires and have them mounted? I am not getting tires sent to the house, every shop around here charges at least $20/tire to mount and balance anyway so I don't save anything and it's way more trouble.

I would get 195/50/15 or 205/50/15 the smaller one's are obviously cheaper but both look good and work well. I bought Falken's 912's and have been great even in the rain. They don't hydroplane and I don't need a real soft performance tire. The price is relatively cheap too. I paid 50 bucks a tire brand new. Your tires would last longer too if you keep the pressure at about 38psi and have them balanced and rotated every 7,000 miles. I worked in a tire shop. Noise is not bad on them too.

I'm probably going to order the Yoko S Drives. There's a $40 gift card with them right now, so a slight discount.

I get them by my house at a shop where their sponsor is falken and they hook me up. If you live local I can take you there. 195/50/15 are 50 bucks a tire and 205/50/15 are 60 bucks each. I would just get the 195's. The price is not including installation though because I get them installed by a friend.

The Falken 912's have the almost the same specs as the yokohama's but the Falken's have a little softer compound since it has less tread life so it has a little better traction. They're both good tires in my opinion. Compare the specs yourself.

I went with the Yoko S Drives. I like the look of the tread, and they are really quiet compared with the Dunlops I took off (28,495 miles). The Dunlops were shredded/cupped and were making a wub-wub-wub sound that was driving me bonkers.
