Hatch Won't Unlock

I have an 07 Sport, and the hatch will not unlock when I use the keyless entry or the unlock switch inside the car. There is no key hole in the back so I cannot put anything back there with having to through it over the back seat . Anyone else have an issue such as this one?

Did you try changing the battery in your remote key fob?

Sounds like the solenoid in the hatch which operates the lock has gone bad. That or the wiring.

Until you get this fixed you can unlock the hatch from inside the car. There is a rubber plug on the inside the hatch. Remove this and move a lever inside to unlock hatch. It's all explained in the manual.

Didn't work for me. Move it and something went clattering to the bottom of the door.
