Driver automatic power window
Hi,
I had a battery problem and the service guy used cables to start the engine. I know that this procedure can blow some fuses. Now the auto-window on driver's side isn't workin(i mean when you push or pull hard the button, it triggers the auto open/close feature).
The manual open/close works properly however.
Is this computer controlled or is there a fuse which has been blown. Where is it located?
Thanks.

I've just figured out that it was because the battery was dead that the auto-window feature had been disabled. However the Radio channels were still in memory.
I've reset the window as explained here on these forums, i.e. closing & lifting the button even though window was closed, and opening and continue pushing the button for a few seconds.
It seems that its because of the auto-window closure protection(to prevent a hand or head from being stuck) that the system disables itself, as the car doesn't know the exact position of the window when the battery has been removed.
I had a Yaris hatchback(2007) but it didn't had this feature, even if you put your hand, the auto-window could crush it(maybe it stops but never tried further). Its amazing the Fit which was designed back in 2001 has tiny things like this which makes the difference, making it better than the Yaris II which was designed in 2005.
