dome light cover removal?

I've used the search function and found nothing. How do you get the dome light cover off on the GD3? I've pried and twisted to where I think I'm going to crack something. I bought the LED set from ACleanSC4 and want to install the set. The cargo light is easy. Any help would be appreciated!

the clear plastic cover (lens i guess?) pops off with a flathead screwdriver, which reveals screws holding in the trim colored plastic.

a flat head (smaller) from the frontal facing side. you just have to get 2 prongs over the lip to get it to come out
