New owner of a 2007 Fit Sport, got a question
Does your Gen1 >> Automatic << Fit Sport rev all the way to redline (~6300) in neutral? Or is it suppose to have fuel cut at ~5500 (roughly 1k before it hit the redline)?
I am getting the car in Tuesday, but when i test drive it and rev the engine in N, it hit fuel cut around 5500, asked the seller, and he said it was normal.
I know I can the older honda can rev all the way to redline in N without any problem... Used to owned a Gen2 Integra (auto) and currently a Gen3 Integra (manual)...
Just want to confirm it before i get the car. If is broken i will obviously have them fix it. Thanks.

yeah its the rev limiter, theres actually not many cars that do not have it after like 1999. (generally newer cars that don't have a rev limiter have been tuned for it to be taken out)
however if you actually throw the gas pedal down with it in gear.. or in an automatic if you have it in drive, then it is possible to redline.
