Non vtec Jazz/Fit CVT auto tranny problem.
#3
I have a Jazz GD1 with CVT, and have not had any trouble with it so far (40.000km).
I can't say I have heard any other have had problem with it either.
Just remember to use the correct oil on the tranny when changing the tranny oil.

from your Sig it says you have the 2007 model..am i correct? i have the 2003 and have own it since 2003 for almost 8years. the symptom will appear after3-4years of driving. but then again it depends on how you drive them. From a thread i read somewhere (i forgot where) it says that we supposed to change the oil every 10-15k..not as per the manual. so if you changed them as per manual, then start doing it every 10-15k. it will happened. the early symptom is shuddering at start of moving fwd. then if you dont fix the problem, it will become obvious like shaking of the whole car then jerks as i have explained earlier in the thread. i only found out about the oil change when it was already too late. i have bought a shop manual where it has the list of symptoms which include this one. it says i need to replace the fwd clutch, start clutch and few other parts. im wondering if anyone had done it.

Thanks a lot man do you know to the price? maybe is this very expensive

It's very expensive over here in Australia - AUD$100 for 4L. Singapore cost bout SGD$40 - $50 for 4L. My suggestion is to ring up your local Honda dealer to ask on the cost for 4L.

this thread kinda going off topic...
anyway, try look up for Idemitsu CVT oil which probably be cheaper (if available) than the Honda packaging cvt as i mentioned before Idemitsu made those cvt oil for honda. honda just have it specially package under their brand and sell it at slightly higher price.
