Tire pressure sensor failure

Tire pressure sensor failure
My 2008 Fit at 35,200 miles (31 months ownership), the tire pressure sensor in my left rear wheel failed, setting off the TPMS idiot light. I took the car to the dealership, and they replaced it at zero cost under the warranty.
My question is, how long are these TPMS sensors expected to last? I can not avoid thinking that the other three sensors will be failing soon, and likely beyond the 36,000 mile warranty period.

good ?
That's a good question. Any maintenance required? I have two sets of GD sport wheels each with the TPMS sensors. I recently had the wheels switched (new tires for winter) and the Honda Dealership said it went flawlessly. Sorry i have only more questions!

We do! I knew my car was equipped with it, but didn't see it for 2 years, until someone was kind enough to cut me off where US-41 and 94-E meet on the way up to Racine and we both hit a cavernous pot hole.
We were going about 70mph in a column of cars, and five of us had to pull off to the shoulder immediately after..
The guy who cut us off lost his drivers front strut, as it went though the top of the tower and dented his hood from the inside
My buddy who was in a lowered DSM tailing me hit it so hard his car stalled! Fortunately with no other damage. Two other people followed us off the side of the road.
I felt my suspension bottom out.. yet amazingly walked away with no damage other than completely disintegrating the TPMS sending unit which I could hear rattling around inside the wheel. Got to his cabin, put it up in the air... and there was zero damage to the undercarriage, front lip, etc. I was amazed.
So yea, I know, cool story bro.
