Tire recommendations
Went backpacking up in Arkansas this weekend and when I got back to my car I had a flat. After putting on the spare in the remote Ouachita Natl forest, by the time I finally found a tire place was open I was only disapointed to find the tire isnt repairable. My stock tires have 34K miles and are getting low so i guess I gotta get a whole new set. Should I go with the stockers again or something else. I guess my main concern is gas mileage oriented all seasons.

912's are amazing on wet and dry but it is terrible on snow. A little mistake on snow, you'll be stranded. Thread wear is descent as long as you don't peel. Right now about 18000 miles, I feel the tires are slipping(I'm not even trying) when accelerating. The tires still have descent amount of threads(about 60-65%) because of my conservative driving. I may buy the tires again if I need new set just because of one reason. It's cheap.

re
dealership replaced one under extended war. and oreder me a new for light housing since mine is chipping. I bought another tire so now I have two new oem tires. I'll probably replace the other two with oem tires as well within the next 30 days. I didn't mind the stock ones and when i remebered about the warentee i figured wth may as well. Big thumbs up to Holmes Honda in Shreveport LA, great service and pretty fast too.

Y?
This tire looked intriguing after reading the stats and reviews. I've always liked Yokohamas. Worth a look anyway.
