Fuel milliage meter

Yep, the Scangauge will do that. Just be aware that you need to be fastidious in your resetting of the mileage and fuel used when you fill up or the readings will be worthless. The one thing I don't like about my SGII is that it defaults at 60 miles to empty and won't read any lower.

Can the ScanGauge be calibrated somehow to avoid this?

The 2009 Honda Fit has a TSB for overly optimistic MPG Meter:
Fit MPG
Once fixed, users have reports much more accurate numbers.
So I understand the Scanguage type of devices can read ODBII and obtain a lot of info on engine fault codes and what not, but in terms of reporting back on real-time MPG for hypermilers, is it any better than the Fit's MPG Meter (if it is working correctly)?
Thanks!
