I am using 0w-30 with no problems... If you are going with the Amsoil I think it won't hurt you. You will get better mileage figures for sure and probably feel a little more umph.

you'll be fine with the 0w-20, the difference between the 5w and 0w doesn't really affect anything unless you're in a really cold area

08fithappy, I've been running 0w-20 Amsoil since July 4, 2010. I have been noticing a slight, but consistent mileage increase of a mile or so per gallon (was getting ~33.5 mpg avg., now getting ~34.5 mpg avg).
I also notice less oil consumption conpared to the previous 5W-30 Amsoil that I ran last year.
BTW, it is nice using Amsoil, since I only need to change oil and filter once a year now.

I have also been using 0W-20 AMSOIL... change oil every 7500 miles... Great stuff and no issues with my motor

Might be switching now for winter...

If you plan on leaving the Amsoil in for one year and/or 25,000 miles, then you should use the AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters (EaO) in conjunction with the Amsoil lubricant.
I believe that you can use Amsoil Synthetic with the OEM filters, but you will need to change the OEM oil filters at regular intervals, or whenever the oil change light reminds you to. The OEM filter apparently does not have the filtering capacity of the Amsoil recommended filters.
FYI, I got this information from an Amsoil notification memo that was sent to me by an Amsoil dealer/rep.

Any offers for 1 year or 25k 'life' on motor oil better come with a written warranty without escape routes ans BBB no problem label. And then wait for several people to successful try it before me.
