Unhappy with seat comfort

(Got mine custom shaped at the factory - it's only about a half-hour ride from here - there's a diner with a window to the factory floor, and barstools at the counter made out of cruiser seats.)

Yeah, mine was $500. No heat, though I did later install a set of heated handgrips. I've had the custom seat added (1.5-2" higher than stock,) added heated grips, and lowering blocks to give me another 1.5 inches between the seat and pegs. Overall, it's about a million times more comfortable than when it started. I may raise the bars a bit with a set of risers, but then my hands would block the mirrors, and I might need a higher windscreen, and who knows what other secondary and tertiary changes I'd have to make.
I wish the Fit's seat-foam were as firm as the Corbin foam. Honda uses some seriously spongy stuff... like the foam bed pillows at a Holiday Inn.
The heated handgrips are an amazing upgrade (I'm sure your Beemah came with some). I'd never realize just how frigid cold and unpleasant my clutch and brake lever are! No wonder the Beemer guys give a headnod instead of waving!

This is going to sound strange but it is the truth.... The only 2 wheelers I have owned that had seats I could stand was on a Helix and a Chinese made Vog 260cc scooter. oh yeah I forgot about my 2 recumbent bicycles and my 67 Royal Enfield 750cc Custom TT Interceptor. I bought my wife a minibike to mess around with and the seat on it isn't as mushy as the ones that came on the Goldwing or Fit.

I would call it perfect, but a nice German fellow once let me sit on his R1200GS adventure during a MSF Experienced Rider Course. Sonofabitch!

I went on a 360 mile trip and my ass felt like it had been caned by a Singaporean jailer. And because it felt so low, my knees were suffering as well. The new seat made an unbelievable difference.

Since I like the long wool seat covers that I got for my wife's Forester I finally got around to ordering some off of ebay for my car... I'll get back to this thread with some feedback about them after they arrive and I have driven with them for awhile..... They look really funky but what the hell, I don't look all that great myself and I like things that are warm and fuzzy.

Seats in my FIT are fine as far as they go. I have raised the front of the seat rails 3/8" to improve leg support. On a few 11hr runs on my recent East Coast trip I suffered no driving/sitting fatigue what-so-ever. Couldn't do that in my 96 Sedan Deville...
