Brake Fluid? Which are you guys using?

I might be replacing mine tomorrow and I'm wondering if there's any specific kind you guys would recommend. Don't have time to go to Honda to buy theirs so what else is good?

I use ATE SL.6, you can really notice the difference when the ABS kicks in.
Its a low viscosity fluid, so the abs pumps faster.

+1

I've used ATE SL fluid and it works great. SL.6 is slightly newer, but both ATE fluids are rated DOT4, which has a slightly higher boiling point than the regular DOT3 fluid. It's not immune to boiling, but you'd have to take the car to a track and really go for it in maximum-attack mode on consecutive laps before it bubbles in your lines. For daily driving, it's more than enough.

Higher boiling points for brake fluid are always better as they increase your system's reliability, and delay the onset of a long, mushy brake pedal.

Right now I use Motul brake fluid, also DOT4-rated.

Same here on the MTF, I'll have to change mine pretty soon.

This seems to work well for me. It was recommended to me by mrFroge:

AMSOIL Series 600 DOT 4 Racing Brake Fluid
