I did a little searching on this, but came up hopeless. I experienced a weird feeling in my clutch pedal yesterday after I drove on the highway for about 40 miles (so the engine was very hot). The clutch (while pushing in) felt gritty and/or crunchy (like there is sand in the pedal, when there is obviously not). I am thinking it could be my clutch cable, but I was hoping someone here has had a similar problem and could fill me in on a solution, if it is a major problem.

Also, my fit is a manual and only has about 12,XXX miles.

 

Our clutches are hydraulic, But I do also have a bad clutch feel. Actually it just feels very shitty.

 

Ah, I did not know that. So the feeling is normal I guess?

 

Throw out bearing maybe, but 12k miles?

 

Yeah I might have it checked this weekend because nothing should be wrong with my car at 12k miles.
