Should i get the FIT or a GTI

I currently own a '07 GTI and my wife has an '08 Fit. Given the two choices, I must implore you with every fiber of my being to buy the Fit over the GTI. If I had it to do over again, I would NEVER have gone down the road that I did, and now I'm stuck with the VW unless I sell it, which I seriously have moral issues with.
If you are completely stuck on the GTI, at the VERY least go for a 2008.5-2010 model year (TSI engines). They have the more reliable engines because they've fixed the "non-existent" issues that VW refuses to acknowledge in those of us with the '06-'08.5 model years (FSI engines).

Yes i wanted the GTI so bad i still love them. They look ill to me and have nice interiors and plenty of room for me. Oh and a blast to drive with the turbo. But im not about blowing money down the toilet on repairs for it. Maybe one day if they become more reliable DDs i will get one for now i have my FIT
