But its gonna be worth it, TS 16 is due to arrive this evening, and my Nittos were as bald as Telly Savalas LOL
Hey Pumpkin, those are great tires. Had them (225/45 R17's) on my '02 WRX a while back. Lasted around 40k miles. Great all around tires, wears evenly, good wet and dry. Gets a little noisy as it wears out. Enjoy!

I put my car on jack stands and swapped out the 15X7" RPF1s with 16x7" Final Speed Eraser wheels with 195-45-16" tires... They look great but are bunches heavier... I may not have then on for long with my engine mounts getting as bad as they are even with the very light setup I have had on it.

Drove to work (11 hours work on a Saturday!), shopped for groceries, then drove at a fast clip back home.

Yes my car is a grocery getter. A grocery getter that attacks highway on-ramps

I finally installed the HFit shifter kit, removed the rear seats and will install a JDM console along with boost gauge and some other knick knacks that I had put away and forgotten about.

I am bummed - I had a knee injury and just got off crutches on Wednesday. Suppose to have gone to a hugh show today but I could not make it because I could not get the car ready with my knee still feeling not 100%. So I got up and off to Wal-Mart for grocery shopping. Came up behind a new Tidewater Fit Sport with the vanity plate that read: ChefCat - hey wait one minute! LOL!

Sorry your bum knee kept you off the show circuit Cat, I'm sure your competition was heartbroken! LOL Here are some pics of the new tires, and my newly taller ride height, which I am still getting used to. I don't think the cut coils will work with the new tires unless I perform major surgery on the fenders, which I'm not getting into.

Looks good!

Are those calipers painted? Did you just swap the front lip trim piece with a black one or did you paint it as well?

What springs/shocks are you running?

Well the amp & sub is all together and sounds Great. not too much bass had a lot of adjustments to get the Thump jast right. It took 4 hours to finish up & it was all fun. Washed, vacuumed and went to the beach about forty- fifty miles.

Aired up the tires and cleaned the windshield. The bugs have been absolutely ridiculous for the past 2 weeks, in fact it looks like the Fit has a 5 o'clock shadow of mosquitoes and other bugs.

The calipers are painted, Duplicolor Ford Dark Blue, same color as my engine cover. The lip has been through several stages of paint, it is the OE piece, and the original paint is beyond help LOL Right now it is painted with 3M rubberized undercoating, which is actually holding up really well. I have the ends covered with carbon fiber sticker to match my hood, which sounds ricey as hell, but doesn't look half bad. The springs are Skunk2s, and my shocks are the stockers, with 79K on them
