What did you do to the GD Fit today?

@Rollerboots666: I ALMOST got those RE-11As last summer but Yokohama had a rebate offer going on which dropped the AD08Rs to almost same price. PLEASE chime in with your two cents on those tires. ^.^

I have never driven on the AD08's. Not a common tire in AutoX that I see, but then again the RE-11A has faded off too. I'm sure it would be a great street tire for cruising around. As far as AutoX most are running RS3's or ZII's. Both my main competitors run those and for my first season on the RE-11A's I did well. If I was a better driver I would have definitely did well on the tires. We'll see what happens for the next few months on these tires until the new ones get here.

Sorry should have posted this with the other post but oh well.

The AD08 and AD08R are my first extreme performance tires I've ran. Both seem pretty good (but not the greatest) in dry conditions with nice driver feedback in terms of feel when approaching, at, and exceeding the tire's limits. It doesn't care to be slid (at least with how I drive) BUT when it does break loose recovery is very manageable. The odd thing about these tires though... they really show their teeth in the rain. I haven't seen a tire at the events I've been at that can evacuate water as well as these so far.

Cool. I got to see them back in October for the first ever look at the final product. Had a great conversation with the designers and testers of the tire. A perk for working for Bridgestone!

I used to run rs3 but then I went to nitto nto1 and now I'm on toyo RR. I'm a fan of both the nto1 and the RR. I grew out of the street tires needed more grip. Not sure if they would be any good for auto x though.
well this weekend I let the fit at home and drove a friends acura integra in Honda challenge. my first rookie race. gonna drive that until my fits cage gets done. this integra has a b16 and is way under powered compared to my competitors. but I still had a blast.

Since it's cold as F*&K in Jersey, I haven't done much to my car lately but I have made a few improvements here and there. I picked up a Beat Sonic shark fin antenna, searched high and low for the model they actually made for my Storm Silver GD but couldn't find a thing. So instead of picking up a silver version that probably wouldn't match my paint, I went with carbon fiber and I must say it looks pretty sweet. I also installed a ODB2 sensor and the torque app on my 8" tablet. I'm not boosted, but I do like getting real time info on MPG, HP (not sure how legit it is), and being able to see whats wrong if I get a CEL is pretty handy.
