What did you do to the GD Fit today?

I got them at www.SparktecMotorsports.com but you can also order them directly from UR but they did not have them listed on the website so you have to call. They are a little pricey but they are the lightest and will take 4.40 lbs off the drivetrain.

So last weekend I had a track event with nasaaz and the fit just wasn't ready so to have a good time I took the wife's car. Lol
Wish the fit was ready as I was 5 seconds slower than my fit. I won't leave her at home anymore.

I noticed today my heat shield on the catalytic converter was rattling and when I went to check it out, one of the bolts had been rusted off. Since I had no brackets or anything so I took a piece of steel wire and wrapped it around the heat shield twice. No more rattle!

Let's see.
In the past week I have:
Good for another 100k, right?
Changing the serpentine belt is a serious pita. Never had to pull as much ancillary parts to get to one? Ended up pulling the airbox to get a straight shot to bolt on lower back 12mm bolt.
In the past week I have:
- Changed Oil/Filter.
- Cleaned and re-oiled K&N filter.
- Bled the brakes.
- Changed Spark Plugs.
- Adjusted valve lash.
- Rotated tires.
- Changed serpentine belt.
- Installed new head cover gasket.

What I would like to do to my Fit today is install some OEM vent visors. Kicking myself for not picking up some when they were available through the dealer..
Edit: Found some OEM's on jdmgoodies.com. Should have them soon.

With the mods you currently have the NT01 will knock you into SMF class. 140 treadwear is the min for STF and those Nitto's are 100. I see you're planning to go boost in 2015. The Nitto would do you well then since you will be in SMF. What class are you currently running?

I'm not running SCCA so the Nittos wouldn't really affect me per se... I run at a BMW club event in their X3F class just to get some seat time. X = Other make (non-BMW/MINI), 3 = 4 cylinder, F = Front wheel drive of course.
Over there in that classes are much more lenient so I'm completing against cars like DC2R and DC5S (equipped with ITR transmission and LSD), vehicles that are gutted, vertical and horizontal chassis bracing, cat-deletes, etc. Basically whatever front wheel drive SCCA class that DOESN'T have straight up slicks or better, runs X3. If they have slicks, they're bumped in to the "R" sub-class here for their vehicle.
We're currently on break until September due to the heat here so I'll be doing some mid-break maintenance, adjustments, and changes during this down time.

Installed visors. Great fit. Except I messed up on the front driver's side. I tried to fix it, but ended up messing up the adhesive. Anyone know of a good way to fix it? It doesn't stay planted down (at the front, where I messed it up).

What grill is that? It's different look to the Mugen or J's racing one.
So today I spent a solid $100 at Canadian tire. Purchased spark plugs, oil filter, and air filter. Air filter was installed, mine was so black. I may not buy Fram again we will see how this one is or if I'll just stick with OEM. plugs and oil change to be completed tomorrow when I return from the wreckers getting myself some honda pin connectors for a new project in my car. I also ended up buying a dremel and shaving out the inner ring of my bezel for my shift boot. I have a leather one and wanted the inner ring removed. Tomorrow in paint albersoft silver and buying real small screws to screw the boot in from the inside. Screws I have a .02 too long and don't want them poking through but I also do not want them lose.

Ended up (carefully) taking it all off. Thankfully, the tape came off of the visor fairly easily. I went to Home Depot and picked up some Scotch/3M Extreme Mounting Tape ($6). It was 1" thick so had to trim it with a razor, but worked well.
