Took the Fit over about a week ago for alignment and got the aftermarket rims taken off and put on the stockers. They look pretty nice as they were only used 2 1/2 years. Suppose to have a bad winter here this year and decided I did not want to trash the other rims in ice and snow. Have to say the car handles better with the stockers but so much heavier waiting to see if it drops my mpg very much.

Swapped out the coil packs, car is running a little smoother now. I think I need to do another valve adjustment though.

its been a while...

T1R suspension
Progress rear swaybar
lower front tie bar
upper front strut bar
custom X brace with C pillar bar
4 point trunk brace
weird orange lower rear body to chasis braces
custom B pillar(lower door frame) floor bar
Weapon R race header, ceramic coated
DC Sports cat back
stock muffler ... for now ... tinkering with options
carbon fiber cowl, rear H and Fit
shopping intakes
mugen e brake cover
shopping black housing OEM headlights to do HID's
carbon fiber rear defuser (chillin in the garage for the winter)

Bought/mounted some General Altimax RT43 on Friday. Seem fairly quiet on dry roads, ride a bit stiffer than my old crap Firestones, grip on dry roads is meh at best; however that's expected out of tires of this ilk. Snow traction is not bad, drove through a few inches last night/this morning without too much issue.

This morning I through on some new Michelin Stealth wiper blades, such a huge upgrade from the cheap Alco or w/e the base brand at Wal-Mart is.

Yes, winter mode is in full effect.

Went over to Honda to buy an replacement engine air filter, some self tapping screws and some replacement bulbs for the backlights for my hazard switch and rear defogger. The self tapping screws are crazy expensive (about 3$ a screw). There are two in each rear wheel well to keep the valence/lip/spoiler attached to the bottom of the bumper covers (front and rear). I have an alabaster silver Fit and now these screws are BLACK COLORED! WTF? I'm not gonna put those on my car. My previous screws were silver and the new ones would stick out like hell. I was gonna replace two screws that were all rusted but not with these black ones.

Installed Ultra-Gauge and confirmed that my MPG sucks as per this thread: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/1st-...y-20mpg-4.html
Any advice as to what to try and fix in my car is appreciated!

Asked mom to pick up some shovels from Costco. 20$ for a pair of aluminum telescoping small shovels. Perfect for anyone in a snowy climate (unless you wanna rock a full sized shovel).

... Those screws holding the front and rear lips ends to the bumpers are black from the factory.

Funny, mine were aways silver/steel coloured. Perhaps the black faded over time?
