It's very easy. The toughest part is finding the correct angle to get your arm up there. I tried to use my right arm/hand (since I'm right handed), but the angle was wrong. I used my left arm and it was able to reach straight up and push the bottom of the clip to pop it out.

I bailed my Fit out of tow yard custody at 1am this morning :-( Parked in a totally empty lot after hours in the middle of nowhere and got towed for a $200 bill. The legal limit for towing in Hartford is $88, so they threw in an additional $88 for dollying plus mileage, then required cash only payment with no change. So I wound up paying $200.

not a fan of the bra grtpumpkin. Think the fit would look a lot better without it. Just my .02.

Received my all-season floor mats when I got home last night. Installed the included floor mat anchors with the new mats.

Stopped by the house at lunch time and my red horn emblem inserts arrived. I'll put them on when I get home from work this evening. Stopping by the dealer to get a keyless entry key cut that I bought off eBay, then I'll get the key programmed at a local locksmith for half the cost of the dealer. Too bad my local locksmith can't cut these keys.

Hey punkin - loose the bumper section and go for the hood protector. I did this on my GE and I like the looks. The rest is really a bit too much......

Drove into town and picked up my new Megan B pipe that was supposed to have arrived last week but hadn't been sent.... The damned mosquitoes are murderous because of days of off and on rain so I hope to install it and get back to town and have the new muffler that arrived last week welded on in place of the 4 year old glass pack tomorrow.

New rubber. Continental Extremecontact DWS. Pretty good so far, hope the 540 tread will last me a long time. My Falken Ziex-912 are bald after 20k miles...

I think it is that the bra is completely black and it stands out in a bad way from the hood which is kinda, yellowish grey-like. The lower cover is hiding all kinds of nastiness sad to say, I may get the carbon hood partially painted while the car is in the body shop getting its latest "mod" repaired. Its the rear-end that looks like the front of a Chevy P/U mod, and I HATE IT!

Maybe, we shall see what the folks at the body shop say. I'm going to ask if they will paint the center of the hood VBP and leave the two strips on the edges in carbon. And if they are willing to do that maybe they'll paint the front bumper too! Figures I get hit on the part that doesn't need painting. Now that imageshack is working again, heres some more pics of the carnage.

The reverse of what I want to do one day. Edit: That rear bumper damage sucks. Hope the body shop does a good job when they fix it.

Those are some very comfy and quiet tires, my uncle's E60 has a set and he loves how they displace water.

I haven't messed with the Fit in a while, so I decided to read a few pages of "Cannonball!" by Brock Yates with the seats in refresh mode.
