played with a 4th gen Camaro the other day. I was cruising down the freeway in the middle lane at about 70 mph. left lane a dude in a Camaro pulls just a little in front of me then revs his loud exhaust. I get next to him and rev. I then down shifted to forth and floored it. By the top of fourth gear he was maybe had a fender length on me then we hit traffic. Him and his passenger threw me the peace sign then shortly exited the freeway.
I think my car did pretty good for taking off in fourth gear from maybe 60-65 mph. Though I do want MOAR POWAR! now. 300whp NA?

Im stll runnng the TSX intake cam gear so im not able to use the cams to there full potential. I do have a Type-S cam gear that has 50 Degree VTC but every time I get money for the tune some other shit for the house comes up

Also, ordered replacement shocks for the rear from KYB Excel-G Shock Absorber 343487,
as I'm pretty positive having just passed the 70,000 mark, that my rears are useless. It just doesn't handle like it used to! Hopefully this will fix the problem, as I love the practicality of the stock ride height as my DD! The Glass Doctors just left also...they got me for $265 to replace the front windshield...I had somehow been ignoring the hideous crack across the middle for 6 months! Yesterday I got my new Dunlop Direzza101's 205/55/15 installed on the front, as I already had my Falken Ziex ZE512's on the back for 3 months. I've been running 46 psi all around and getting really great results in handling!

Thanks for the heads up! I didn't know about it, but just read through the DIY for it, and it seems like it works very well for the price! I've placed it on my to do list! Unfortunately, between the shocks, the windshield, and the tires, my bank is currently diminished!

In the case of the tire pressure**, I can understand bumping up the rear tires to a higher pressure to aid in rotating the rear of the car around but wouldn't having the fronts at that high of a pressure not allow you to fully utilize all of the tire's tread during cornering (since the tire is basically over-inflated by a good margin)?
** Note: Just curious here by the way; everyone has their different preferences.

^^ Ditto, I'd be more concerned about the choice of tire size and tire pressure though**. 205/50R15s would have been a better choice if one was looking for a more "spirited drive friendly" tire since you'd be going to a slightly shorter tire in overall height (aiding acceleration, gearing wise) with a thinner (and likely stiffer) side wall than that of the 205/55R15.

Yea you are definitely right! I was concerned about minimizing the gap between tire and fender when I got the tires (which the 205/55's do quite well) however they are very sluggish. I felt the difference first thing, they accelerate a bit slower and there is just a drag in first gear at lower rpm's. My next tires will be 50's for sure. The max psi rating on these tires are 51 front and back, so in order to make up for the 55 height, I have to run 46psi so the sidewalls remain firm. I definitely made the mistake of going with the 205/55's but oh well, they sure grip nicely once up to speed haha!

Swapped my spark plugs back to the stock Denso Iridium set. Back in December when I was having misfiring issues, I had purchased a set of E3 Diamonds to see if that was the problem. It wasn't, it was a coil pack, but I kept them since they seemed to run a little sharper. Fast forward 6 months to an ever increasing cold start time. Determined the plugs weren't tight enough to seal (I was really careful about not over-torquing them in the past) and tightened them up, helping for a bit. Then it came back, to the point where it was taking 8-9 fast turnovers to start, when it would normally be 2-3. Decided to put the old ones back in, and I discovered a nice little sealing issue with ALL 4 E3's. Take a look at that burn ring on the white insulation.
Problem solved. I'll be taking these back for a whole other set.
