What did you do to the GD Fit today?

I don't have a GD, but I found this:
Shop - Antoni'e Kondar'z Miniature Garage Online Shop - 1/43 Ebbro 2002 Honda Fit/Jazz 1.3 "MaxxiFlush" - Multiply Marketplace Indonesia
Considering it's only a few inches long, that's some skillful work!

In the mean time I am just growing my Fit fund, and looking for other projects on the side when time allows to speed that process.
If I can get ~2.5k together after I am done with the rest of the hot-parts needed for the DSM the Fit goes under the knife again.
I have amassed a ton of parts for both at this point and just never seem to have the time when I have the money, or vice-versa.

I'm a little slow at posting things on here, so here are a few things that i have done with my Jazz GD1 over the last few weeks...
13th Feb 2012:
Decided to copy the Spoon Endurance Fit airbox mod...
Spoon Fit:
Purchased 2nd hand Airbox:
Heavily modified the filter housing:
Fitted a K&N panel filter:
And put it back together:
The car instantly seemed to breath more easily in the upper rev range.
3rd March 2012:
Purchased a 2nd hand set of wheels to use for track use and swapped the tyres round...
My Rota RB's with "all weather" tyres:
And my OZ Superturismo track wheels with well used Toyo R888's:
24th March 2012:
Front brake upgrade...
Removed heat shields:
Fitted new vented discs and Ferodo DS2500 race pads:
Test fitted my track wheels and tyres for arch clearance:
After taking the car out to bed in the brakes, i let the engine cool off and and had a little lunch before carrying out a Throttle Body Coolant Bypass (to cool the Throttle Body and reduce intake air temperature).
Disconnected the Flow (orange) and Return (yellow) coolant lines from the IACV (red) on the underside of the Throttle Body:
Cut a 10" (255mm) length of 1/4" (6mm) I/D Hose and joined the Flow and Return together (shown here in yellow), to bypass the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) and help reduce intake air temperature:
I then flushed my engine oil out with some 10W-50 fully synthetic (left over from my Toyota Levin) before fitting my new Hamp Oil Filter and filling her up with Gulf Competition 5W-40 fully synthetic engine oil (Ester based).
30th March 2012:
I had my HEL Braided Brake Lines fitted and had the brake fluid replaced with Motul RBF600.
They also carried out a full brake system check, the printout is below:
The figures don't mean that much to me to be honest, but it was good to see it purely so i know the weight of my car, 1022kgs (with a full tank of petrol, full interior, mats and spare wheel etc).
12th April 2012:
Stripped my back seats out and packed my car, ready for it's first track outing:
13th April 2012:
Attended my first track day in the Jazz at the Castle Combe circuit (south England) with Hondas on Track (HoT)...
Car emptied out, track wheels and tow hook fitted. Ready for action:
And a few other photos from the day:
As far as my day went, i had an absolutely brilliant time. My little Jazz performed really well, brakes worked perfectly and she handled surprisingly well. I was achieving somewhere around 95-100mph at the fastest point on the circuit and i even caught and overtook an Integra DC2 in one session! Lol.
All in all, i had a fantastic day. I'd highly recommend any UK members to join HoT for a track day if you like this sort of thing. They are an excellent club which take great pride in their driving skills and track manners.
14th May 2012:
Ordered an Invidia N1 cat-back exhaust system:
Ordered a Spoon Low Temp Thermostat:
and a BuddyClub Low Temp Fan Switch:
These will help keep my engine at a nice safe temperature the next time I hammer my little Jazz round a circuit.
I'll post some photos when i get the Invidia exhaust system fitted.
Steve.

Nice post! No wonder you're slow... You don't write short stories... You write novels!

I had a little delivery at work this afternoon.
Really surprised how quickly it arrived... I ordered it from a German tuning company on Monday morning, and it was delivered to me in the UK just 2 days later!
My Invidia N1!!
Couldn't wait to get it fitted the minute i got home, lol.
I was really surprised with the quality, everything fitted really well. Nice and close to the floorpan.
It produces a lovely deep tone without being too loud. I'm really happy with my purchase.

Yeah, it's really good. It is one of the best fitting systems i have ever had on one of my cars.
I'd highly recommend the Invidia N1 to anyone. I'm really happy with it.
