I read somewhere that those camera intersection tickets are winnable just by saying "that is not me" in court, because legally you have the right to face your accuser, and they have no one to show up in court to represent the camera. I think you can even do a trial by declaration in the mail, just submitting your statement.

P.S.

$33.00 and they threw in the rice for free!

It actually sounds pretty friggin' mean, I'm surprised.

Nice I am wanting to do this for my 2007 Fit - short ram CAI - did you have to relocate your battery or was it pretty much remove the old air box and hook it up?

I got an e-mail from the guy who is the head of a huge car show that actually has the most tuner cars and mini trucks shown in our area. They want to use the Fit in a photo shoot for their car show flyers for 2012. They plan to have a tuner car, 4 x 4 truck, mini-truck, motorbike and a classic car all in the same picture. I was very honored to be asked because there are a ton of nice tuner cars in our area. They are going to try to do it in a few weeks just hope the weather is nice so I can get the car cleaned up really well.

I didn't have to do anything other than pull the old airbox out, just two bolts holding it in. The only issue was the kit I got came with a couple of mickey mouse generic brackets that didn't really work out, so I'll probably pick something up from Home Depot to secure it better. As it is now, if you look closely just to the left of the cone you can see the end of a bracket sticking out that I bent into shape just to temporarily keep it from resting on the coolant hose.

Oh, and I'd like to thank other posts on this forum's DIY stuff for telling me how to pull the negative battery cable and waiting a few minutes to reset the ECU's "check engine" light. I accidentally fired it up without reconnecting the air sensor cable and tripped it like a dummy.

didnt get to do much to the fit this weekend but we washed the wifes firebird and used the Turtle Wax Black Box on it. Does exactly as advertised! Pain in the rear to do it by hand but results are beautiful!

I would highly recommend this to ANYONE who owns a black car. It covers all those annoying fine scratches and makes the finish look showroom new. FYI there are a bunch of scratched across the front bumper, cant see them can you...and this is NOT touched up. Straight HD pic from the iPhone to photobucket.

Swapped out all the driving lights. Used to run PIAA Intense White lights for the headlights but those kept blowing out within a year's time so I put Sylvania Silverstar Ultras in for both the headlights and foglights.

Hopefully these will emit light just as well as the PIAAs while the fogs are off.

I used to run silverstar ultras in all of my cars and i loved them. Never burned one out either. Tho at this point, i would prolly just get a set of bi-xenon hids...just like it better lol

Bi-xenon lights will spoil ya, especially ones that auto-level themselves and turn with you into the bends.

Yup not that spoiled...lol! The fit (since it has one bulb for both high and low beams) needs bi-xenons but im not gonna get any. In a couple months im going to be giving her up for an FA5 Civic Si. Drop about 2500-3k on parts and be sitting pretty at about 220+whp...its ill be a good thing. I will get a XenonDepot hid kit for the civic and since i will eventually be doing an FD2R conversion, the HID kit will work for the JDM light...same size bulb FTW

Thanks, I just switched it up recently. Those pics were taken by a fellow fitfreak'er on here was looking for a fit to volunteer for a photo shoot and he made my car look like a magazine worthy car (not really, but I can dream) You can find my whole photo thread somewhere on here in the pic section or my profile page.

next big purchase will probably be the ksport coilovers. I've heard good things about them

Bought a house to park the GD and the DSM at.

Bad news... most of the remaining Fit fund was used.
