Changed the oil and filter myself on the GD3 today for the first time using 5w-20 Mobil 1 Synthetic and a Honda oil filter. Twas a cinch do to though despite asking a friend of mine, a former Honda technician, about little tips and procedures as well as give me a 2nd opinions on my work as I did it. Can't wait to see the difference (if any) in initial starts when I get ready do drive to work in the morning.

I found this picture of my MR posted on the FB page of the car show we attended this weekend. I guess the photographer for the Festival liked what they saw or else decided what the heck is this.... LOL! We were driving onto the lot of the show and my friend Rod is in the white Honda Accord and the guy is telling him where to park at.

Yeah from what im hearing i am expecting alot more out of my Fit now. I just filled up and topped off this morning so ima throw it in eco this coming week and see what i can muster as far as mileage boosting. Averaging between 24-26 in the city, but thats with my heavy foot and retarded traffic lights.if i can come a lil closer to 30 in town ill be happy ^_^

I also did some looking on Pans site he sells them from...found out the wire harness for the GD Fit is the same harness for the FG Si...makes my decision a lil easier now...lol

Ordered a ton of parts today for the Fit - smoked LED tails, paint for my lip kit and spoiler, EBC slotted and dimpled rotors, Hawk HPS pads, 6000k HIDs from Topspeed, and Sparco pedals - can't wait for them to come in. I love those bonus checks!

The weather is absolutely gorgeous.... I would love to slick out my little shitbox of surprises with a good going over but would rather head out on some farm to market roads and experience some lateral Gs.. I'll have to work on our old pickup before I do anything but the Fit will get some attention also.

Heheh TC drifting his Fit-on-steroids . 'bout time you got a temp. break. Enjoy the cooler temp.!

Well, changed my oil/filter and air filter. Was painful having to wait for the MM B1 to come on. So went 6.8k this time vice my regular 5k routine. Also changed the drain plug to a magnetic one. We'll see how it looks next oil change.

The difference in power with 10 PSI boost at 80F compared to what it is at 110F is truly an amazing thing that I wish everyone experience... When the temperature is in the 30s or 40s there is even more power but the tires won't hook up until you've done a serious burnout when it is that cold.... I decided last night that I should have gotten a magnetic oil plug and one for the transmission also... Did you get a decent price on yours and where if so?

Yup... definitely cold air = good boost!

Splurged a bit over holiday (Labor Day) and took advantage of the discounts. Bought it @ RallySportDirect.com for $19.80. Is that decent? They were out of GReddy so took what was in stock (KICS). Looks good but kinda feels soft - maybe aluminum alloy. But it's on now. Along with it some parts for my Rex - Samco hoses and some pads.

I found KICS for $18.00 which is the cheapest so far.. The ones by Mugen have a rod on them the protrudes into the case and a pair for the engine and transmission are $45.00 both at Kami Speed... Usually if a number of items are packed together what is saved on shipping is less than if ordering from a different items from a number of online dealers. I try and save on items by avoiding overpriced JDM brands but for the first time I am thinking of going JDM.. There are a couple of other things I would like to get there also... When will it ever end????
