That is what I need.. I am so damned sick of only finding right wing hate spewing and mindless cookie cutter country crap on the air waves here I do at times scream... You know, it is dangerous trying to change CDs or tune in on available stations while driving.. When I had My first Austin Healey my girl friend that lived between Dallas and Fort Worth wouldn't get in the car until she had lowered the antenna... She said it looked "country".

Thank-you Mr. Hootie

It's worth every penny if it keeps you alive in the event the worst occurs, IMHO.

I'm having mine drawn up currently. (12pt)

Also, looks bad ass to anyone behind you in traffic.

Nice man! how are you counting 12? i state that mine is 8 because the legs touch/ connect to 8 points. however anytime the cage is welded or connected to your chassis is considered a point to some rules. I might have about a 16 point cage lol.

driver side front shock tower, passenger side front shock tower
driver side a pillar, pass side a pillar
driver side lower a pillar, pass side lower a pillar
driver side b pillar top, pass b pillar top
driver b pillar lower, pass b pillar lower
main hoop driver side, main hoop pass side
man hoop to b pillar driver, main hoop to b pillar pass
rear shock tower driver, rear shock tower pass

and im sure theres more contact points with plates welded to the cage. lol

Basically the same with a few more points added for the unibody and roof rails, I will have pics!

But the guy who's doing it is in Michigan so whenever I have the funds and the time, which will hopefully be sometime this summer. He has a shell pretty much identical to mine, but he normally only does drag cages down to 9.9sec/150mph.

Unfortunately mine has to be legal at Bonneville and Loring where they are far more anal, so it may become quite cramped in there.

I also have to have my fire suppresion systems installed and a firewall for when I put in my fuel cell. Stock tank is legal because it is outside the car, but I want to have a diffuser mounted under and behind the rear subframe so its got to go.

It never ends... 22 months of work non-stop and counting.. I have plans to be in Texas in the next 18 months for some shakedown runs and to get some experience with what my current aero and suspension will do at those speeds. So maybe I can meet up with you, TC and hayden for some beers while Im down there!

The car starts to "float" past 150mph

But it gets there really ****ing quick and pulls like a train through 160.
