I thought I took the front lip off a few weeks ago when I kissed the ground and WV roads and mountains are hard on lowered cars. You have to remember also I am 54 years old! Not as easy to get out of a car any lowered than what it is now! LOL! But I agree lowering it just a little more would make a big difference. OK - I will think about that one some more.

What the people with slammed cars have a hard time admitting is that they bottom out and scrape a lot... I have to slip my clutch in 1st after coming almost to a complete stop to keep from scraping on speed bumps in some parking lots. My car needs to sit lower than it does according to some people that don't have to drive where I do.

I'm lowered and if i recorded my commute people would be amazed. WI was rated as one of the states with the most subpar roads......and I still want to be lower

Def a difference between GD and GE's. I love GD's but I couldn't handle driving a lowered one. Mine is lowered on Swifts (you know, Coyote) and I have *yet* to scrape. Even today on one of the steepest dips in Athens (full of scrapes from other cars), I didn't scrape at all. I'm also hoping to get new wheels/tires in September with 205/50/16 tires so I'll also be raised up just a little bit and at the same time reducing wheel gap a bit more.

I like the style (black/polished), Cat, but I'm not sure I like the design of the rims. But if you like them, then that's what is important!

Yes, I love your car and when I drug the lip it made me sick because I just thought OMG how bad of damage did I do. So it is good that you are not having any problems. Let us see what you end up getting in September.

If you lower it Cat, you can forget about those " on one knee" inspections! Trust me, for all the crap I have given you about needing to lower your car I think you are smart to leave it alone. My poor Fit needs to repainted front to rear, never mind the bottom! Wheels were a great choice, they will really "finish it off" with the CF hood. Just be careful for all those young-uns looking to race ya! LOL

Thanks! You mean I should pass on the Hello Kitty sticker that says," You've just been passed by a girl!"

Nah, go for it! It will egg on the haters even more. It would be even funnier if your sticker said "You just got passed by your grandma" And I mean that in only a complimentary way by the way....

I love it! Some guy walks up to me yesterday at the show who owns a classic Nova and said, You know I think it is great somebody your age owns an import that they show. There was a little old gray haired lady beside me showing her 1960 Corvair! She looked like my Grandma and sit in her little chair all day with a blanket over her. I was sitting there thinking ok that will be me at that age but I will be rocking a riced out Honda still!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cat :x

PS Fit won a trophy for the Top 4 Sport Compacts- Import Division. We were in the grouping with Nissan, Toyota, Scion and the Honda!

You have a nice looking, super clean, eye catching car, I am not surprised that you scored a win with it.... You aren't as old as I am and my car is modified with disabled veteran license plates and handicapped parking placard along with the supercharger and other performance modifications.. Most notably are the bugs on the windshield and dog pee stains on the wheels and tires.
