Chris - Depends on how low you want to go. If you get springs ultimately you will want to get shocks as well. So it does add up down the line. While coilovers offer the best of both worlds with raising and lowering your car. And adjusting the dampening. Let me know if your interested in a set of T1R coilovers that are barely used (2 weeks). I am switching my suspension up and since your local I can deliver. Your near San Jose right?

new coilovers are usually over 800 dollars
springs are around 150-200 bucks new.

look for used stuff around. eibach, tanabe, tein, t1r are some of the bigger names out there.

there are TONS of threads. check out the search forum or even goggle it!

it depends what your looking for. i had the progress springs and realy liked Them. They gave the car a bit of a lower stance and felt like the ride was as good if not better than OEM

I did some research and I decided to go with eibach pro line springs. The drop is 1.6 front/1.0 rear.I figured with these springs the drop will be sufficent and keep my ride good.
