So im looking at ebay

and wondering if anyone has tried these???
do they work?
how hard is the install?

looks pretty good.
i'm guessing it's the same format as the JDM mirror covers...just ALOT cheaper!
wiring should be pretty easy to figure out

im not worried about the wiring part
i wanna know fitment lol

and how hard would it be to take apart the oem mirrors

from what i know..you gotta remove the door panel to access the nuts and bolts that hold the side mirrors in place.

removing them isnt the problem

taking apart the mirrors swapping the base and the motors is

its easy, i replaced my mirror shell once, but its easier if u got a pin tool to remove the wires from the connector

Get on it Kev. I want these too but terrified to try wiring them without a Kev DIY.

I am intrested in this.
The only damper is: I checked with a body shop and got a quote of $150 to paint both the covers storm silver (NH642M) to matck my body color.
Does any one know where to get these painted at a better cost?
