East coast snow storm.

Nothing really much to say but I just wanna share that my GD3 handled good in snow with Falken Ziex912 . Not maybe the best but it was a decent ride home. I love my GD3!!!

We are at approx.13 inches as of 11:30 tonight. I'll put up some pics of my "snowbound" Fit tomorrow while I'm shoveling the driveway. And of course, my Chevy 4X4 that is supposed to be getting me to and from work during all of this is laid up with a blown motor! Go f#$ing figure.....

Mine hasn't seen a lot of use in the really deep stuff because it has about three inches of ground clearance in the front and the Nitto Neo Gen is not a great snow tire. In more reasonable amounts of snow the Fit strikes me as a very capable little car, very communicative of how much traction you have available. The ABS threshold is a little low for my tastes, but it does stop the car so what more could you ask for? Here are some more snow pics as promised. I'm in Inwood WV about 90 miles northwest of Washington DC. Sitting at approximately 33" as of 1:30 this afternoon and yes, its still snowing.....Sheeesh.

Fit is Great in the Snow.

I live in Ontario Canada, I have Toyo T1R's for the summer on the HFP rims and Toyo GO2's snow tires on 14 inch stock steels. I have not had any trubble in the snow and its lowered also. I love the Fit, and I love Toyo tires. I will not buy any other tire other then Toyos they are worth the extra $$$$.

It may take me 30hrs just to shovel my driveway LOL. Thank you Hondaforlife for the work you do, without plow truck drivers our civilization would grind to a halt during winters like this one.

Great pictures! We were lucky the snow did not hit WV in our area hard at all. We got about one inch and the roads were all nice and clear. Much better than the 10 to 12 inches which we were predicted to get. Keep those Fit safe off the road and remember only about 41 days until Spring!
and we will be rolling again

We got at least 18"-20" of snow. Sucks to shovel. My shoulders are sore lol!

FitVic that's a lot of snow! haha It's a good thing that I hid my Fit in the garage today which I usually leave my Fit outside when snowing but I decided to put it in the garage.

Those are nice pictures grtpumpkin and osarias.

My drive home yesterday was okay. The Fit handled well compared to the cars I've driven before my Fit. I was overtaking 4WD vehicles too

We got NOTHING. Not a single flake. I was hoping for some good snow, but no, nothing. South Jersey got lucky with the 24" in some places, but not a flake in North Jersey where I am.

I drove my Fit from NYC to Atlantic City, NJ on Saturday. From exit 100 and counting down, the roads on the GSP was barely shovelled. Between exit 60something - 38 (A.C. Expressway), there was about 3" of snow on the ground and it was snowing hard with gusty winds. For a good hour, I was the only car on the road! Kept the car in 3rd gear and cruising at 40mph. Love my Pirelli Winter Carving Edge tires!

Good Lord they were hyping this thing up to the sky on TV this morning! They had the DC area slated for 18-24" of additional accumulation starting at noon. Of course then 12:00 came and went and no snow....Fortuneately they seem to have over-estimated this thing a little bit. It is snowing like a mofo out here right now though. Have I mentioned that I hate winter? LOL
