I tried looking before posting the recall but didn't see anything. Were you being sarcastic about not having seen it or had you really not? Your smiley confused me

Where did you checked that? My father so far has not got a email for mine to be recalled.

'Exposed to extreme amounts of liquids'...

Really? A short causing a fire, no way.

I don't think it's a big deal if this is a post that's already been made. I would think it would be a sticky and even on the homepage by now. Guess it's not important enough...

A new # replacing 13-052

OK, I just went into the dealer for the third time with this door switch "recall" with the GD3. The manager sent me a copy of their marching orders from Honda. I brought their own words back to them and highlighted a paragraph from their notice, plus one from Honda directly to me.
From my recall notice sent to me from Honda Corporate:
What Should I Do?
Even if your vehicle was repaired as part of the previous recall, you vehicle will need to have a new power window master switch installed.
From my dealer's own Service Bulletin:
If the inspection reveals no switch damage, the vehicle will be returned to the customer. Then, when new parts become available, American Honda will send those customers a second notice, asking them to bring their vehicle back in to have the switch replaced.
Even after showing the Assistant Service Manager both of these paragraphs, she insisted that, per the Corrective Action section of their Service Bulletin: Inspect the power window master switch and , if necessary, replace it.
I argued that common sense was not prevailing here and that the two notices clearly state that I am to have a NEW, different model, window switch put in. I asked that she contact Honda Corporate because I refuse to find out that I need a new switch when my current one sets on fire some day. She then went into her computer, and wouldn't you know it, there is, "just released", a new campaign number for this very recall. I did not memorize what the number is, but that it states that a NEW switch is to be installed. Anybody know of the new number and the exact wording of this modified recall campaign?? I intend on calling Honda right now.

Edit: I just found it on the Honda Recall Website: campaign JA7 Service Bulletin 13-090

OK, I just spoke to Honda Corporate. This new campaign number specifies that if you (GD3 owners) did not get a new switch under the 13-052 recall, then you will automatically under 13-090. I am convinced that is what the second 13-052 letter said even though my Service Manager disagrees. Either way; another trip back to the dealer to get it replaced once and for all.
