Look of the base model VS sport

Am i the only one who prefer the GD3 without the lips, fog and oem wing?
I've the base model with the mudgard and I think it look better than a sport one.

i haven't made my mind up on the mud guards, but ill keep the lip and spoiler. I like the base with the fog delete piece, thinking about taking my fogs out. Not sure if i can swap out the base fog covers with the sport ones though.

You need to change the bumper, the sport bumper have big hole beside your fog.
The worst thing on the sport model is the lip.. eww.. i really dont like it.

there's something about a slammed base gd3 and wheels with the perfect fitment that always makes my heart melt ... if i could have had a base gd3 with OEM fogs, cruise, keyless entry, and aux port then i would have bought it over the sport.

I'm dropping my GD3 base on ten spoke 99-00 Civic Si wheels, blacking out all windows and adding new head unit eventually. I saw both side by side at the dealer, and a dropped base looks much more sleek than the OEM lip kit.

It depends on the car. I really like some of the modded bases I have seen on this forum, however a stock base just looks way to plain and boring.

Agree with the OP about the spoiler, but the lip kit looks better than the base. And the GD3 Sport wheels are beautiful.

It's plain jane stock right now except for a carbon fiber Spoon style spoiler.

Base style FTW. I had the sport lip/skirts on my base. But now I'm back to stock base style.

I have a NHBP GD3 Base. I didn't like the extra plastic on the exterior of the Sport. Only thing I would like to add is the cruise control and HFP wheels.

I plan on adding some of the ammenities that the sport offers, like keyless entry and fogs. But thankfully those can be added to base, and I can get a new head unit with USB that's 5165165156156 times better than the stock. And OEM Fit alloys on GD's look poopy. I wish Honda woulda used some other OEM from another 4x100 car they had laying around (EM1 wheels look nice on Fits).

I love my base! Only thing I would have liked to have from the Sport was cruise control. I'm kinda tempted to remove my front mudguards though, because I keep rubbing them (dropped on skunk springs). As for as radios go, I ended up replacing the stock deck with a fusion one because I can just put the ipod in the deck it self and its a nice clean deck.

Everything else I can do with out. Although I did end up getting a pair of the sport wheels just cause i raped one of my steelies on a curb (twisted it badly) and I needed a new set of wheels on the cheap. Got them from a fitfreaker for $230 w/tires, best money I ever spent. But had they not been so cheap, and had I not been driving retardly >.>, I'd still be rolling steel's with out hubcaps until I could pick up something really nice.

Don't remember who's car it was, but it was a base with a front lip (oe or aftermarket, can't remember), it was dropped with rims and mudguards all around. It looked so hot.

Anyone?

How about cruise, security, auto paddles, USB, extra tie-downs, 16" whl"& tires, 2 more speakers, body-colored mirrors/bezels.
Cruise particularly.
