Seriously it's for my truck, but it fits perfectly sideways and attaches to the hooks in the back. It certainly kept my stuff from flying around on the way home

Bungee cord in the back, the bed extender strap fits into the seat latch in the front though.

You could make a light duty version of that out of PVC pipe and fittings for just a few dollars and paint it any color you liked with Krylon spray paint for plastic.
