Maybe this is an excuse to get rid of the OEM wheels and buy an aftermarket? lol

I heard a rumor that the GD sport rims are the lightest 4x100 rims Honda makes. I'm not sure if this is true or not.

As far as I know the HX's are the lightest. The Fit wheels will fit on probable 90% of Honda/acura's line up

They're being stolen because they are great looking wheels. Under appreciated by FIT owners IMHO. I replaced the steelies on my 08 Base with Sport rims I bought from another fit freaker. Huge improvement in looks and a reasonable improvement in handling.

I agree, most likely a mid 90's Civic HX 14" wheels.
It's sad why ppl steal OE wheels..... I'm sure these wheels can be found shortly on a *ahem* mid 90's Civic.

I'm not 100%, so don't quote me, but I think VX's are lighter by 2lbs. They are similar to HX's but they are 13's. The problem is trying to get them to fit on anything, they are just too damn small.

i don't know why people like our wheels so much. Ive had so many people ask if i would want to sell them, esp the creepers that work next door to me at town fair tire. I'm preparing myself to leave work to a car on cinder blocks. And kenchan is right, watch our insurance go up too.

The salesman threw wheel locks in for free on my Fit Sport purchase, saying there were a lot of reports of thefts even then (May 2008). If there is a popular rumor that the wheels are light, that might explain it. Maybe we should start a counter-rumor, or just spread the truth -- the stock Sport wheels are anything but lightweight! They're boat anchors fer cryin' out loud.

fit sport wheels are turning into the new SI wheels. they should have made the fit 5 lug.

reason why people are stealing them is because there universal to civics/integras and fit is going to become an easy target just like the old model accords are now. a good percent of people that i have seen in texas driving fits are older men/women that would never think anyone would steal rims off there fit and they leave them unattended for long periods of time in parking lots
