HFP w/ mid-pipe is really clean sound!

on the low revs it's noticably deeper and louder than stock but not intrusive, crusing is still very nice, floor it and your car will sound grrr!!! no rasp, just a deep clean tone. I highly recommend any chamber and mid-pipe combo. The aspec i had before is just a little too loud. but maybe im wrong and some other cans are quiet?.. i dunno just my confusing 2 cents. Good luck!

I like a deep rich bassy tone and hate interior resonance. I am also cheap and think outside of the box. I am going back to the local muffler shop and have a Thrush Vortex twin outlet muffler installed to replace the cheap glass pack that I have on it now.... The only thing that out flows it is a straight pipe of the same diameter,(on ones with single outlet) very little interior noise, pleasant low tone outside, and cost less than a name brand axle back system. You can run the price up big time if you want to shell out for some outrageous looking tips for some added flash and eye appeal, but I will get some down turned ends and paint them black.

i got my muffler on Friday and i cant believe this muffler is not loud enough i have really push it around 3500rpm then i notice it. love the sound though i still need to put my intake on monday see what happens. I cant believe my car cant even get past 120km/h and limits me at 4000rpm what's up with that! does the 07 fit have this issue? i know it's not related to this thread but can you link me to some thread?

If 120 km/h is all you can get, I would say that there is a problem somewhere.... My 2007 hits the rev limiter in 3rd. gear at that speed.

I've seen 110 MPH (177 km/h) going down hill with a super charger.... I think that I might have misread that, and was only going 105... The top speed on U.S. cars are governed, but guys in Asia have gone a lot faster in cars with CVT and the smaller engines even.

Yes, and also change about anything else. You had better have all of the power modifications you want before getting a reflash, or you'll have to get a self programmer set up to alter timing and air/fuel ratios to tune for any other changes.... Performance tuning has always been costly, but damned if it isn't at a level of insanity these days....

i just wish they cut more slack on this car and put a rev limiter on around 6000rpm. i think this car is set so low. but then a again what can you expect from a small engine. i miss the civics.

Your Check Engine light isn't on is it?.... You need to hook up a code reader and find out what is wrong. It sounds like your in limp home mode possibly due to a bad VTEC sensor.... Hope you find the problem, get it fixed and it isn't anything too costly.... These little cars start making power at about the same RPM that yours is playing out at. The best of luck to you.

I know this isn't one of your choices for the poll, but i had an Rs-R catback on my 91 Integra and it looked and sounded great. Low and deep, but most importantly not ricey.
